Depot Jam Privacy Policy
Effective date: 6 November 2026
- Depot Jam has no accounts and doesn't ask for your name, email or any other personal details.
- Your progress, coins and settings are stored on your phone.
- The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, which collects some device information to show and measure ads. In the UK, EEA and Switzerland you're asked for consent first.
- Purchases are handled by Google Play. We never see your payment details.
Who we are
Depot Jam is a puzzle game for Android made by PJB Devlab, an independent developer in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). PJB Devlab is the trading name of Paul Berry, a sole trader, who is responsible for your data under UK data protection law. PJB Devlab is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration reference ZC291906. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, email support@pjbdevlab.co.uk.
Information stored on your device
To save your game, Depot Jam keeps the following on your phone: levels completed and stars, coins and power-ups, trophies, daily challenge and login-streak progress, Fleet Book trucks, your settings (sound, music, vibration, reminders), and a record of purchases already delivered so nothing is given twice.
This information is not sent to us. If you have Android backup turned on, Android may include it in your Google account backup so your progress can be restored on a new phone. That backup is handled by Google under Google's Privacy Policy.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Unless you've bought "Remove Ads", Depot Jam shows banner ads and occasional full-screen ads, and offers optional reward videos. These come from Google AdMob. To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, AdMob may collect and process:
- your device's advertising ID and other device identifiers;
- your IP address and the approximate location worked out from it;
- device and app information, such as phone model, operating system and language;
- how you interact with ads, and diagnostic data about ad performance.
If you're in the UK, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, the game shows Google's consent form before any ads load, and ads are only personalised if you agree. You can change your choice at any time in the game under Settings > Ad privacy. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings (Settings > Google > Ads, or Settings > Privacy > Ads on some phones).
Google's use of this data is covered by Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
In-app purchases (Google Play)
Coin packs, the Starter Pack and Remove Ads are bought through Google Play. Google processes the payment; we never see or store your card or bank details. The game receives a purchase record from Google Play (which product was bought, plus a purchase token and order ID) so it can deliver what you paid for and restore Remove Ads on a new phone. See the Google Privacy Policy for how Google handles payments.
Notifications and ratings
The optional daily reminders (a morning one when your free Tacho Wheel spin is ready, and an evening one) are created on your phone and don't send any data anywhere. You can switch them off in the game's Settings or in your phone's notification settings.
When a new version of Depot Jam is on Google Play, the game may show Google Play's own "update available" box. That check is made by Google Play on your phone; it doesn't send anything to us.
If the game asks you to rate it, the rating card is provided by Google Play. Your rating and review go to Google Play, not to us.
What we don't do
- We don't ask for your name, email address, phone number or any account details.
- We don't use analytics or tracking tools of our own, and we don't collect your precise location.
- We don't sell your personal information.
Children
Depot Jam is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, contact us and we'll help remove it.
How long information is kept
Game data stays on your phone until you clear the app's data or uninstall the game. Information collected by Google AdMob and Google Play is kept according to Google's own policies.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law (and the GDPR, if you're in the EEA) you have rights to access, correct and delete personal data, and to object to or restrict how it's used. Because we don't hold personal data about you ourselves, most requests are handled directly by Google; you can manage your ad choices as described above, and Google explains your options in its privacy policy. You can delete all game data at any time by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it. If you have a concern, contact us first; you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
